World2Fly inaugurates a new route between Lisbon and La Romana and announces a connection from Madrid

On June 6, World2Fly, the airline of World2Meet, the travel division of the Iberostar Group, inaugurated its new direct route between Lisbon (Portugal) and La Romana (Dominican Republic). The route, operated on an Airbus A330 with capacity for 352 passengers, marks the start of weekly operations every Friday until September 26.

  • In addition, the inaugural flight between Madrid and La Romana on an Airbus A330 will take place on June 21.

The connection, operated as a package with the tour operator Newblue, strengthens the company’s commitment to the Portuguese market and allows Portuguese travelers to enjoy a comprehensive vacation package in one of the most attractive destinations in the Caribbean.

In addition, World2Fly announces the upcoming launch of a new direct route between Madrid and La Romana, also operated in collaboration with Newblue. The inaugural flight is scheduled for June 21 and will operate weekly on Saturdays until the end of the season. This new connection strengthens the airline’s presence in the Dominican Republic and significantly expands vacation options for travelers in both the Spanish and Portuguese markets.
