La Romana Airport welcomes World2Fly Portugal’s first flight from Lisbon, kicking off the 2025 summer season

On the afternoon of Friday, June 6, La Romana International Airport celebrated the arrival of the first World2Fly Portugal flight from Lisbon, marking the official start of the 2025 summer season.

The new route strengthens connectivity between Portugal and La Romana, consolidating the growing interest of the Portuguese market in enjoying the beauty and quality offered by the Dominican Caribbean. World2Fly will operate this weekly connection until Friday, September 26, using its modern Airbus A330-300 aircraft with capacity for 352 passengers.
